GOOGLE: RETAIL DESIGN / USER EXPERIENCE
Google’s ask: “Create an open space to learn, explore, recharge, and be delighted by the best-in-class experiences Google offers. Design a space that is part classroom, part playground, part museum, part spaceship, and all Google.”
We designed a sleek, inviting space with a large Google Earth portal to grab interest from a distance, and used warm wood and gentle curves to extend a friendly welcome from the Google brand.
USER EXPERIENCE
Consumer journeys and touchpoints were central to every design decision we made. I mapped out how different types of consumers would interact with the retail space to ensure high brand engagement.
Whether presenting exciting cross-device demos to destination shoppers or enticing someone browsing with large screen entertainment, the design made it easy for everyone to immerse themselves.
I also worked closely with 3D designers to map out areas that could be used to support priority products, display promotional event signage, and enable self-assisted exploration.
